Children's ministry overview 

Our mission at FBC Tanner is to partner with parents and caregivers to raise children who know, love, and serve Jesus. It’s our goal to introduce children to the life-changing message of the gospel, providing opportunities to grow, connect, and reach out to others.

The FBC Tanner Children’s Ministry includes Sunday morning Bible studies, children’s church, and Wednesday evening activities, and other special events throughout the year. We know that biblical education, safety, and relationships are crucial to making your child’s visit to FBC Tanner memorable and possibly life-changing. When he or she attends, they’ll be engaged with age-appropriate and Christ-centered curriculum and worship, and we hope they’ll leave feeling known and loved. We also hope this is a place where you can meet other families and experience the love of God through Jesus Christ. We are excited to serve your family and look forward to meeting you!

Sundays

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Begins at 9:15 with age appropriate classes beginning with two year olds.

 CHILDREN’S CHURCH

Children’s Church is an extended class provided for prek kids up to the third grade during our worship time.

The children initially go into the worship time with their parents to worship through music and are then dismissed to children’s church. A slide shown during the worship time will indicate when it’s time for Children’s Church.

Wednesdays

CONNECT GROUPS

Connect Groups  begin at 6:15 for kids three years through twelve. Crafts and fun activities teach the kid’s scripture, books of the bible and bible stories. During holiday seasons our Children’s Choir also practices on Wednesday evenings.

A safe, clean and loving nursery is provided for all church activities.
