Amy grew up in Hazel Green, Alabama and graduated from Hazel Green High in 1996. She then transferred to Athens State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Sciences. In 2002, Amy began graduate school at the University of North Alabama. In 2004, she graduated with a Master of Arts in Community Counseling. Her previous work history includes geriatric case management and program supervisor, counselor intern and Associate Licensed Counselor. In 2012, her family made First Baptist Church Tanner their church home.
Amy has two amazing children, Connor and Marley and enjoys being actively involved in church and at school. She loves spending time with her family, beach and mountain vacations, Auburn football and worshipping with her wonderful church family.
